Posted by bchan | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on December 12, 2017

We have another busy week ahead of us, with several exciting events coming up. I’m sure it is also a busy time at your home, as well. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is getting adequate sleep each night. This is especially important at this time of year when there are many exciting things happening at school. Being rested will help your child to manage their excitement and continue to learn and get along with classmates.

Thank you!

Thank you all for your generous contributions for the Gifts for the Manger project. Our class collected a heaping box of baby items. May God use our gifts to bless babies and young families in our communities and may they know of God’s love through us!

Grade 7 Buddy Activity

On Tuesday, we will be going to the middle campus to participate in an activity with our Grade 7 buddies. Please remember to prepare a snack and a packed lunch for your child.

Music Sharing

Just a reminder that 2CH will be having their Music Sharing class during Music on Wednesday, December 13 from 9:15 am-9:45 am. Remind your child to bring their music and/or instrument on Wednesday morning. Parents are invited to attend!

Friday

Friday is a school-wide dress up day. Wear any festive clothing, red and green, or any other Christmas clothes you have!

2CH will not be having a formal Christmas party. However, on Friday, the students will participate in special Christmas centres, including crafts and games. In the afternoon, we will join with our 2Y and 2H friends to enjoy a Christmas movie. The teachers will provide popcorn for the movies, so please do not send food to share. Thank you.
