Field Trips

On May 1, 2019, students from 3H will be going on a field trip to Burns Bog in Delta B.C. as a supplement to our “Biodiversity” unit.  Students should ONLY bring a snack and a water bottle in a small backpack. NO ROLLERBAGS! Students will have to carry what they bring. Dress for the weather as we will go rain or shine! Please ensure students are wearing warm, sturdy shoes as we will be walking around 4 km.

****Do not bring a camera as I want the students to be looking at the environment and not taking pictures. I have 2 parent volunteers for this trip.  Parents can travel with us on the bus or meet us at the parking lot of the Planet Ice in Delta, B.C. See me for directions.

On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 3H students took a field trip to the UBC Museum of Anthropology to study the culture of some of the local First Nations groups as part of our Living off the Land – Socials unit.

Terra Nova Park Field Trip

On Thursday, September 27th between 9AM – 12:30PM, all Grade three students went to the Terra Nova Park in Richmond to participate in a community building activity designed to help students learn how to work together while solving problems, with various peers in their class.  The day was beautiful and students work well together to complete many different challenging activities.

Many thanks to the parents who came with us – Mr. Sun, Mrs. Liu, Mrs. Chen and Mrs. Chiang – who really got a lot of exercise!
