Dear Parents,

SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! Brrrrr!

The students had so much fun in the snow last week.  Most children were well prepared with boots, snowpants, sweaters, water-resistant jackets, hoods & hats, scarves & gloves.

Thank you for protecting the children with warm, weatherproof clothing so they can enjoy their outdoor breaks on windy, frigid days!

Gratefully,

Frosty the Snow Teacher

Dear Parents,

The first week back to school, 4S students were introduced to our Robot Homework Helper project.

Each child was asked to:

  • explain the project to you
  • ask you to read & sign the “Robot Project Letter”
  • draw design ideas for their robot + collect parts/supplies

Three “Art Afternoons” have been planned at school.

Students need to bring their robot pieces/supplies/tools on these 3 days:

  • Friday, January 24
  • Friday, February 7
  • Friday, February 14

The final product is due on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20.

Note:  A parent permission note is required for students to use hot glue guns & box cutters at school.

LET THE INVENTIONS BEGIN!
