Well Done 3K!

The students in 3K did a fantastic job presenting in Chapel this morning! Thank you to all of the families who came out to support our class! May students continue to reflect on what it means to be a true neighbour. “It’s not about following a set of rules or being kind to those who are kind to you. And it’s definitely not about getting attention or praise. Jesus set the ultimate example of what it means to be a true neighbour. He left his kingdom in heaven to become our earthly neighbour. He served others. He healed others. He humbly put others first. He loved the unloveable. He even died on the cross for us when we were his enemies.” Students were challenged not only to know what it means to be a neighbour, but to show it as well!

  • Spelling continues again next week (March 9th).
  • We will not have a memory verse next week. Instead, students are encouraged to complete 2 or more items from our UGM list. Let’s practice being a neighbour to those in need in our community.
  • Students are reminded to complete and return their VIP Book Award on Monday.
  • Students are reminded to return their Math SWYK with a parent signature and corrections. If students would like to show how their thinking has grown in addition and subtraction strategies, they are welcome to take a re-test.
  • Next week, due to a school event, the library will be closed on Thursday after school. Therefore, the library will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after school next week. Please make arrangements for your children to be picked up at 2:45pm. Library and AR will be open Monday and Tuesday as usual.

Have a wonderful weekend!

God Bless,

Mrs. Kuo
