WE ARE READY FOR GRADE ONE

Here we are at the end of Kindergarten! Can you believe all that we have done this year? We have learned, played, laughed, studied and grown together. It has been a pleasure and blessing to be part of their learning. Thank you very much for all your prayers, encouragement and support throughout this year! The students are like butterflies, carrying different shapes, sizes, personalities, and patterns. They are now ready to “fly” and search for their next journey. “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.

Last week:

Force and Motion: we have continued exploring force and motion by performing small science experiments to learn about pushing and pulling. We took our stuffies to the RCS park to try out different activities and to think about what kinds of forces involved in those activities.

Summer plans: We brainstormed some fun activities we can do during summer. Each table group made a poster of their summer activities and presented it to the class. I hope you all will have a fun-filled summer!

Literacy and Numeracy: We have continued practicing writing letters and making sentences with our sight words. I am impressed with their confidence in “spelling” words. In numeracy, we are learning to tell number stories using manipulative.

Here are some final notes for next week.
