Students will have an opportunity to think about ‘social senses’, how we use then in our daily lives and what it’s like for people with autism to use their ‘social senses’.

Hi Students and Parents,

It’s that time of the year again when we raise donations to support International China Concern.

Last Friday, we watched a video and heard some true stories about the needs of orphans and abandoned children in China. We were challenged to sacrifice our time, effort, and comfort to help others in need. Our theme in grade 4 is “Give Up to Lift Up.” Could we “give up” some of our free time to earn donations?  Could we “give up” our shyness to bravely share the ICC story with others?

We hope students will reach their fundraising goals, but also work hard to achieve their goals to take a risk to step out of their comfort zones in order to help abandoned and disabled children this Easter season.

Did You Know?

$30 pays the wage of a loving nanny to care for 5 children for 1 day?

$40 provides the home, food, and clothing needs for 1 child for 1 month?

$70 provides education for 1 child for 3 months?

$100 provides physical therapy for 1 child for 4 months?

To find out more about this wonderful Christian ministry, please visit www.chinaconcern.org.

The final day to hand in donation forms will be Monday, April 15th.

Thank you for your prayerful support!
