Thank you for the many “After School Plan” cards that have been returned to the classroom.  Thank you for all the great email questions and requests for Library Passes.  I really appreciate your thoughts, concerns and requests.

Some blue cards will be sent back home on Monday for you to include any club your child may sign up for in for term 2.  This could include French clubs, open clubs, and your child’s choice of club.

There will be a new card sent home for Term 3 at the end of February.

All cards are due to the classroom teacher by Friday, December 12th.

Dear Wonderful 4E Parents,

4E, 4L and 4S will be celebrating the culmination of our First Nations unit with a grade 4 Potlatch.  We will be celebrating all that we have learned about the Northwest Coast First Nations people on the morning of Monday, December 15th.  We also would like to make bannock together.  This is where we need you. We need 8 to 10 parent volunteers to:

  • help the students measure ingredients for the bannock dough
  • bake the bannock
  • the time commitment is roughly from 8:45 to 11:15 on Monday morning

If you are available to help out in this event, please email me at pepp@myrcs.ca to let me know.

Thank you in advance!

RCS will be supporting the Richmond Crisis Pregnancy Centre this Christmas. We will be collecting new items for babies until December 5. Please encourage your child to participate by taking your son or daughter to the store and allowing him/her to select something to donate. We want to teach our children to share their blessings with those around them and this is an excellent opportunity to practice this.
