Law and Order in the Library

It was a pleasure for the SC Library Learning Commons to host Law 12 guest speakers again this year. We had two parents from our community generously give of their time to share with Ms. Pershin’s students their real life experience with law and order in our community. Constable Ben Wong Moon with the Vancouver Police Department, returned to share again this year on Criminal Law and policing. Larry Yen, a lawyer at Boughton Law Corporation, shared with the students about Corporate Law and his 23 years in the field. Both were enriching opportunities for students to see how the concepts they are learning about are lived out by professionals in the field. A big thank-you to both these parents!

Enjoy the View!

Mrs. Tinsley’s Art 11/12 students have painted some beautiful landscapes on display now on in the Library Learning Commons. Come sit in a comfy chair and read a good book while you enjoy the view!
