The Week of April 1st

I hope you had a wonderful spring break. I look forward to seeing you bright and early at 8:20am on Monday.

Library Bag

We will have Library on Monday. Please make sure your child brings their library bag.

Once again, we would love to see your pictures! If you traveled over the break and took a photo of your children in front of a library, send the photo to Ms. Huber! Or, if you read together as a family, those photos are welcome as well. We just love to see our community reading and enjoying libraries! Email all photos to Ms. Huber.

Scholastic

I will send home the Scholastic flyers on Monday. If you would like to place an order, please hand in the order form and payment by Friday, April 12th. 

Homework Routines

Please continue to help your child with their spelling/reading/Bible Memory Verse (BMV) everyday.

Spelling- Your child will receive their new spelling words on Monday.  Please help your child cut out and practice these words. Their spelling test will be on Friday, April 5, 2019

Bible Verse- By yourself you’re unprotected. With a friend you can face the worst. Can you round up a third? A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped. Ecclesiastes 4:12 (MSG).  They will recite on Friday, April 12

The Week of March 11

Library Bag

We will have Library on Monday. Please make sure your child brings their library bag.

On Friday, March 15th, the library will be closed after school. Please pick up your children at 2:45pm.

Once again, we would love to see your pictures! If you are going travelling over the break and come across a library, please take a photo of your children in front of it! If you are staying local and visit the library, we would also love to see those photos. Also, if you read together as a family, those photos are welcome as well. We just love to see our community reading and enjoying libraries! Email all photos to Ms. Huber.

Term 2 Home Reading Minutes

Would you please take some time this weekend to count up the number of minutes your child has read at home this term? I will need the total on Monday, if possible, but no later than Wednesday. Thanks for your help!

The Week of March 4th

Thank you for coming to the student-led conferences. The students had a great time preparing to show you their work.

Stuffy Day

On Friday, March 8th our chapel theme will be “Incredible Companion” so bring your special friend who has been with you through thick and thin, also known as your favourite stuffy! We will have our annual stuffy toss at the end of chapel.
