Hi Parents,
Here are some photos from our carnival and Fort Langley field trip last week. Feel free to download the entire album if you wish.
Hi Parents,
This is a friendly reminder that our field trip to Fort Langley will be this Monday, March 2nd. We will be leaving the school at 8:40, so please make sure students arrive on time.
For Monday, please pack 2 snacks for students as well as a lunch. Students will have their snacks before and after the field trip and return to RCS to have their lunches. Also, the weather forecast predicts rain for that day so it would be wise to have boots as well as waterproof layers.
I’m looking forward to an awesome field trip!
Mr. Lam
Dear Parents,
I’m very proud and excited to invite you all to celebrate the hard work that’s taken place in our class over the last month. We will be holding our Cardboard Carnival(s) during the last week of February. Here are some dates you can look forward to:
Wednesday, February 26th: Trial Carnival at 2:00pm
-4L students and parents will get to test out other classmates’ games.
Friday, February 28th – Carnival for Grade 1’s from 1:15pm – 2:30pm
-Grade 4 student will be running a carnival for Grade 1 classes.
*Parent volunteers are needed to run the prize booth.*
To make our celebration enjoyable for the grade 1’s, students are encouraged (but not required) to bring some prizes to contribute to the carnival. Some items they can bring are:
Each game booth will be given tickets to pass out to grade 1 students. Students can use their tickets to redeem prizes at the prize booth.
We will be collecting donations this coming week. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! Also, if you would like to volunteer to help during the Grade 1 Carnival on Friday, Feb 28th, please let me know.
Blessings,
Mr. Lam
Hi Parents,
A few students might need the following links to finish their tide table homework for tomorrow. Here they are:
Hi Class,
Well done with your chapel today! Here are the videos from our chapel. Enjoy!
Hi Parents,
Sorry about the very late blog post. 4L will be presenting their chapel this coming Friday. Please arrive to school earlier (8:15) and come directly to our class door. I’ll open up so we can have our props and costumes all prepared.
Many thanks and hope to see you there!
Mr. Lam
Hi Parents,
Here are few announcements to draw your attention to:
Maritime Museum Field Trip:
4L will be going to the Maritime Museum in Vancouver on Monday, Dec 9th to learn about arctic exploration. We still require 2 more adult chaperones for the field trip. If you are willing and available to join us from 9am to 1pm, please let me know.
Carolling at Aberdeen:
We will be carolling at Aberdeen Centre on Thursday, Dec 12th, between 1:30 – 2:30. Please feel free to join us and enjoy the festivities.
Class Party:
We will be having a class party on the last day of school (Friday, Dec 13th). Students are asked to bring something (snacks, drinks, paper cups, entrees, and veggies) to share. Please confirm with your child by writing your dish/contribution into your child’s planner.
Thanks for your attention. I look forward to an awesome week before the holidays!
