2022 WorkSafeBC Student Safety Video Contest – Due Mar. 29th, 2022

The theme of this year’s contest – My mental health matters – challenges students to create a video (maximum two minutes) that explores the importance of mental health in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

B.C. students in grades 8 to 12, together with a teacher, can enter.  There’s a junior category for students in grades 8 to 10 and a senior category for students in grades 11 and 12.  There’s $10,000 in prize money to be awarded to the winning student(s) and their schools or youth organizations. Entries will be judged on the impact of their safety message, original creative concept, and technical execution. The top entry will receive additional prize money from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and be entered into the national Focus on Safety Youth Video Contest.  Deadline for entries is Tuesday, March 29th, 2022 at 5pm.  More information can be found HERE.
