Hour of Code coming December 5th!

hour-of-code

This year, we will be participating in the international “Hour of Code” in honour of Computer Science Week.  We want to be the kind of school that gives our students the best opportunities to excel in their future, and coding is becoming one of those skills that some say will eventually be as valuable as reading and writing.

Sign up to reserve a (limited) position and on Dec. 5th, 3-4 in the library, students will complete simple coding challenges to introduce them to coding skills in a fun, non-threatening way using middle-grade challenges from www.code.org/learn.  Beginner, intermediate and advanced coders welcome!
