October Mystery finally solved!!!

Once upon a crime… What happened???

All of October, students were working hard reading books, participating in library contests and doing tasks around the library to achieve clues to solve the mystery around the body outline that we found in the library.  After a month of hard work, Evanie was the first to get the correct answer, followed by Ted and Eunice.  Pop into the library to receive your prize!

Here’s what really happened:

Mr. Cheung snuck into the library after school because he wanted to play the new Fart card game Mrs. Osborne bought for the library.  He kept the lights off and started looking everywhere for the new game. Just at that moment, a faithful library monitor happened to walk by the library. The library monitor looked in the window, saw all the lights off, and noticed a suspicious figure lurking around inside! Since the library monitor was on the Library Ninja League (the library helpers dedicated to the safety and security of the library), the library monitor snuck into the library, grabbed a huge book from the return bin, snuck up behind the suspicious man, and smacked him over the head with the huge book. Mr. Cheung was instantly knocked unconscious.  The library monitor, realizing that the suspicious figure was not, in fact, a thief or criminal, but Mr. Cheung (!), ran out of the school before anyone could see the terrible thing she had done.

And that’s what happened!

Thanks to all who participated…stay tuned for the November reading contest!
